I am used to repeat orders and repeat business. Once tree planters go through the painful and frustrating process of planting trees over and over again and then finally hear about Tree Tubes, they always have such a positive experience that they want to plant more trees and I hear from them again the next year… and the year after that. (Thankfully, more and more tree planters are hearing about tree tubes from friends/family/neighbors before they plant the first time, saving themselves years of frustration and lost tree growth!)
Recently, however, I am seeing more of a phenomenon I have started to call the “instant repeat order” – folks who order some Tubex Treeshelters to try and perhaps compare with other types of tree tubes they have used before, receive them, love them, then immediately order more. They just know their trees are going to thrive in them.
Case in point, here’s an email I received today: “Chris, We got the Tubex tubes on Saturday. Very happy with them. So happy that we would like to duplicate the order.”
I think there is something else that is driving these instant repeat orders: Once you protect some of your seedlings with tree tubes and see how they will be protected, it seems almost cruel to leave other seedlings out there unprotected!
